Update: we came for the second time in under 30 days... if that doesn't tell you what a gem this beach is. Thank you to Niki for making our stay so great! I can't say enough good things on how lovely this stay was. As a mom of 3 under four (2 + 1 on way), traveling solo, I felt this location couldn't be better. You're sandwiched between US-23 and your own perfect sandy beach. No need to worry about commuting to the beach and forgetting anything, you're steps away from home even if you do. Even with a rainy weekend, we found sunshine and fun. The pictures really are what you expect!! We even ran into Niki, I was surprised to see her on the resort which says a lot, and treated us to the best pancakes we'd ever had. I was sad when we checked out, I left wanting to immediately book my next stay. My kids were obsessed with the swings and seesaw. It's the little things
We had 3 cabins for our families (grandparents to grandkids). We already are considering coming back next year if our schedules allow. The cabins are simple but nice and met our needs. Didn't plan to spend time in them anyway. The beach is amazing! Large with no rocks. Swimming perfect. Lots of activities on site. Great location to venture out to other places like Lumberman's Monument, but the kids didn't want to leave the beach. Owner very friendly and accommodating.
I have made so many great memories at the Blue Haven Beach Resort. Nothing can beat the beautiful blue water and sugar sand beach. The cottages have a simple, clean, and a step back in time feel, everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Not to mention the gorgeous lavender garden display. This place has come so far. I highly recommend!
Just left after a 3 night vacation w 6 other families. A perfect location for all of us. cute well-stocked & clean cabins, outdoor games and activities for all ages, multiple fire pits and the sugar sand beach was A+! Michigan also gave us the perfect summer days to enjoy it all ! Thank you Blue Haven!
We had an amazing time at Blue Haven Beach Resort. The units were updated, clean and comfortable. The beach area is incredible. There is a huge sandy area to play games or sit and relax. You can wade quite a ways out and never get too deep, all while walking on soft sand without any rocks or pebbles. The owners were accommodating and helpful. They are clearly passionate about delivering a great experience for their guests. We would absolutely stay here again.
Our family had a wonderful time at Blue Haven. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The beach is beautiful, and the wifi is excellent!
Just returned from an amazing stay at Blue Haven with the family, and didn’t want to let the hustle and bustle of life to get in the way of letting you know what a fantastic time we all had. From the staff, to the accommodations, to the breathtaking views, Blue Haven is top notch. We chose this place because we were able to bring our dog, and I’m so happy we did, we’re already talking about our next trip. Thank you for making our first family trip in 8 years such a memorable one.
Overall had a great experience here! Stayed with our family and it was a ton of fun. Love the beach area and that there were games/toys for the kids. The only complaint I had was no AC. Other than that it was great!
